Food for Thought - A Daily Activity
When is the "best" time of day for you to improve the quality of your life?
Is there a time, like in the morning, when you first wake up, when you feel at
least at whatever would be the "best" for you all around?
What we can try to do is commit to 30 minutes of something that will help us
physically at a time in the morning, or whenever, when we can do something, like
walk, exercise, listen to a meditation cd that might give us a small bit of
positive return. It's a little bit of time out of a 24 hour day. We owe it
to our mind, body, and soul to not give in and give up. I have tried to change a
lot of my behavior, words, and attitude in order to create a happy environment.
I might not be able to change physically all of what I need to do, but as of
right now, I can choose to at least give those are around me a smile. Smiles are
healing, they spread, and you do get something in return. Try to honor your
body, life, and relationship by thinking, doing, and saying things that will
build a positive aura, which is your immediate environment. No one but you is in
your "space". This might help to put you on the healing road. We can still
approach all "dis-eases" or physical issues mentally and spiritually in the same
way to fight off
any energy that can and definitely will hinder any chance of success. Some
people suggest that we hold on to our problems, at least mentally, as a crutch.
Some people like me, are afraid of failure as equally as success. To succeed and
then lose is really a tough thing to handle. Try to remember that what we think,
say, and do at this very moment is creating our future. Try to build a strong
mental foundation by creating a new habit that you know is a positive one. 80%
of success is mental, if not 90%, so in actuality, whatever the "best" that we
can be for today
hinders upon our 80-90% mental choices. Try to take the emotion out of the
equation, and focus on the mental aspect of what you do know that I can do for
yourself.
A friend of mine told me once that all of our answers are in ourselves. Let's do
a scavenger hunt and look for our own golden eggs that we have inside that are
unique and belong to us only. Those attributes are what makes us special. What
we do with our own speciality depends upon the choices we make. Pam
